The manor
Sönnarslövs Herrgård is a spacious 760 m² manor house in the countryside of Östra Sönnarslöv, just inland from Österlen. It has generous entertaining rooms, a large kitchen, a grand dining room, several bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is made for relaxed house-party weekends and works beautifully for intimate weddings, family gatherings and retreats.
The location
Östra Sönnarslöv village sits at the foot of the Linderödsåsen ridge, about 20 km south of Kristianstad and 85 km from Malmö. The village is part of a cultural landscape shaped by centuries of farming: rolling fields, beech forests, tree-lined avenues and the Mjöån river valley. The area is also rich in prehistoric remains, from Bronze Age burial mounds to Iron Age stone settings.

Östra Sönnarslöv Church
The medieval church has Romanesque origins and 15th-century murals. It also holds the Ramel family burial chapel, tying the village to the historic Maltesholm estate.
Maltesholm Castle
Northwest of the village, Maltesholm Castle was founded in the 1630s and remodelled around 1780. Its park, avenues and estate buildings have shaped the surrounding landscape for centuries.
Beech forests & trails
