Johanna
BRIDESMAID
The bride's older (hard to believe, we know) sister & backpacking partner – also called Nansen. When backpacking in Asia, people would say "same same but different" to them about their looks. She once stone-cold watched Linnea eat a spicy chili, saying, "Maybe it's a paprika, try it." They booked a five-week trip to Asia because they were hungry. Eating mango sticky rice and singing their song "drinking drugs in the mountains" is their favourite activity. As Johanna is a doctor, she loves it when you ask her opinion on all your health issues. Feel free! ;)
Emelie
BRIDESMAID
The bride's childhood friend from Bunkeflostrand. They went to school together until year 5 and had similar interests (horses & musicals) but then ended up in different classes. This was during Emelie's more dramatic teenage phase, so it suited Linnea well. When they realised they ended up in the same school and class (again) in secondary school and took the same bus to school every day, they had no option but to bond again. And here we are today ❤️ Please discuss her son's many names with her!
Carl
BESTMAN
Olle's childhood friend from Stockholm. They met during their teenage years at a house party through mutual friends. After the party finished, they realised they lived in the same suburb when they saw each other on the same train home. After that, they started hanging out a lot as they lived close to each other. They shared (and still share) the same passion for electronic music. They rode their scooters in the summers, worked together at call centres, painted Carl's family home and DJ'd back-to-back at several nightclubs and parties in Stockholm. Speak to Calle about his passions: Italian food, wine, fast cars and starting businesses.
Szabolcs
BESTMAN
Olle's partner in crime. They lived their best lives before Linnea and Nerissa came into the picture. They instantly became friends when Szabi joined Citibank in Belfast. While they were colleagues, they spent their days solving complex anti-money laundering issues and thought they knew everything about hedge funds. At night, they drank pints and whiskey in cosy Irish bars and ate fatty food. They always kept in touch after both moved away from Belfast by visiting each other and going on several trips together. Speak to Szabi about alpacas, gardening and the stock market.
Julia
TOASTMADAME
The bride's "first" Amsterdam friend from Merck. Julia is the highlight of a night out, always finds the after-party and cooks an insane breakfast the day after. She quickly bonded with Olle too, as they are equally social and silly. Julia has organised several birthdays and events for us and drove us around crazy mountains in South Africa. Speak to Julia about her recent interest in diving and coral restoration!
Nils
TOASTMASTER
The bride's much-liked brother, also called Nilsen. So liked by everyone that he is called "the suck up" in Linnea's phone. Emelie used to come over to Linnea's house to help cook simply to see Nils, as he was a popular guy already back then. When he isn't working in finance, he renovates his and Leo's Copenhagen apartment, does yoga with his son and chops wood on command. His son will also be at the wedding, and his name is also conveniently enough Nils, so don't be confused when you hear Nils and Nilsito in conversations.
